The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change highlights the need for urgent and comprehensive action to avoid catastrophic consequences of global warming. Yet current efforts of governments to remain below the 2 degrees threshold have been hesitant and overall, insufficient — dramatically increasing future adaptation and mitigation costs.

Integrate Climate aims to empower climate vulnerable communities to influence decisions on climate mitigation and adaptation at local, national and international levels.

Despite already suffering extreme climate impacts, the world’s poorest and most vulnerable populations continue to face significant challenges in engaging in climate change negotiations.

Integrate Climate aims to empower climate vulnerable communities to influence decisions on climate mitigation and adaptation at local, national and international levels. Combining awareness raising, social mobilisation and political advocacy, we seek to enhance government accountability to global climate agreements, and advance national policies and action that place vulnerable people at the centre of climate change responses.
